About these terms

These terms apply to the Comfort & Co Cleaning website and to the private Comfort & Co operations application where a person has been given authorised access. By using those services, you agree to use them lawfully and in accordance with these terms.

Licence for authorised app users

Where Comfort & Co gives you access to the private operations application, you are given a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use that application only for the Comfort & Co business activities you are authorised to perform. This does not transfer ownership of the application, its code, business rules or data to you and does not permit you to resell, sublicense or make the private application available to another person.

Public website and enquiries

The public website provides information about Comfort & Co Cleaning and a way to make enquiries. Website content is general information and does not by itself create a booking, guarantee availability, fix a price or form a service contract. Service details, scope, timing and price are confirmed through the relevant business process.

Private operations application

The private operations application is for authorised Comfort & Co operators and approved users only. Access must not be shared with another person. Users must not attempt to bypass authentication or authorisation controls, access data they are not permitted to use, interfere with the service, or use the application for an unlawful purpose.

Comfort & Co may suspend or remove private application access where access is no longer required, where security requires it, or where these terms are breached.

QuickBooks and other connected services

The application may connect to third-party services such as Intuit QuickBooks, Google services, hosting, storage and enquiry-delivery providers. Those services are operated by their respective providers and may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

A QuickBooks connection is authorised by a user with permission to connect the relevant QuickBooks company. Accounting data remains associated with that QuickBooks company and its accounting records. Connecting the Comfort & Co application does not transfer ownership of those accounting records to the application.

Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the website, private application or connected APIs.
• Do not upload or submit information you have no right to provide.
• Do not probe, attack, reverse-engineer or deliberately disrupt security controls except where expressly authorised for legitimate testing.
• Do not use another person's account or credentials.
• Do not use the service to create misleading, fraudulent or unlawful business or accounting records.

Intellectual property

The Comfort & Co website, application code, branding, written content and original system materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Third-party names, software, APIs and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. These terms do not grant ownership of Comfort & Co or third-party intellectual property.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the website and private application available and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Services may be changed, maintained, suspended or withdrawn where reasonably necessary for security, reliability, provider changes or business operation.

Professional and accounting information

The Comfort & Co application helps administer operational and accounting workflows but is not a substitute for professional legal, tax or accounting advice. QuickBooks remains the accounting system for accounting records handled through that service, and users remain responsible for reviewing business and accounting decisions that require professional judgement.

Responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that, users are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of information they intentionally submit and for protecting credentials issued to them.

Ending a connection or access

Authorised QuickBooks connections may be disconnected using the application controls once the production connection is enabled, or through the relevant provider where available. Removing an integration stops future authorised API access but does not automatically delete records held by the third-party provider or records that Comfort & Co has a continuing lawful reason to retain.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the website, private application, connected services or business processes materially change. The current version and its last-updated date are published on this page.
